Day 3 Invitation || Priestess ACIM Lesson

Day 3 of my 40 day commitment to studying A Course in Miracles! Today I was guided to Chapter 5 I, which illuminated the invitation of the Holy Spirit.
This chapter really quickly resonated as I read and I feel like I grasped it easily almost as if I was remembering- like, duh of course this is the absolute truth!
The chapter illuminates “simple” and easily digestible yet MAJOR heavenly thought nuggets like;
If you do not choose to be wholly joyous, your mind cannot have what it does not choose to be.

Spirit knows no difference between having and being… To Spirit getting is meaningless and giving is all.
-A Course in Miracles
Having everything Spirit holds everything by giving it, and thus creates as the Father created.
-A Course in Miracles
If you can accept the concept that the world is one of the ideas the whole belief in the false association the ego makes between giving and losing is gone.

So a “reawakening” is called forth in me, it is a remembrance that everything I have been blessed and given in this current life and in my Spirit was never intended for me. My laughter, humor, my love, my light, my perspective and my thoughts…. all of these are not mine. They are yours. For me to hold on to these things and others is a detour from the mind of Christ and an ego mentality of lack. The later believes that if I give to you there will be none or LESS for me. This chapter slays that false belief by reminding us that in the kingdom of Earth and Heaven what is given is multiplied and the fear you feel when giving something away is a good sign that you chose the mind of your true Self and put to sleep just a little bit more of the ego.

Thoughts increase by being given away. The more who believe in them the stronger they become.
