Priestess Confession || God is Everywhere in Everything
Well beloveds, I have had a major revelation that I wanted to share with you!
A revelation I have had a few very potent times in my life, and last night as I lay in my salty bath with geranium infused steam filling my lungs and listened to an INCREDIBLE audible I was struck over the head with a lightening bolt of pure inspiration!
My latest book, The Celestine Prophecy (omg must read), has been floating in my ears over the last couple weeks as I really take my time digesting it.
Last nights chapter was on addiction to people. YUP we are going there! 🌚
The message was referencing the intoxicating love we feel when we first connect with a beloved that we are intensely attracted to! Explaining how this love can ultimately lead to a toxic codependent relationship, where each partner is constantly in a power struggle with the other in order to “make/ mold” them into who they need them to be.
The author then illuminates the perfect medicine for this very common misstep in relationships. Stating that the way to avoid this needy codependent power struggle is to recognize what is the real need behind those less than favorable dynamics. Underneath it all we are just fighting for energy! That euphoric buzz you have when you first interact with your beloved is pure energy, its love and life force, its light!! This is incredible that we can intentionally gift this to one another, which we should continue to do so, when our own cups are full of course! The major point here though was that when we make that one person the source of our love and vital life juices we cap ourselves off from the limitless abundance of the universe and thus become deeply resentful at the partner, whom ultimately never intended to be that for us!
YEP MY MIND IS BLOWN TOO!!!
The author goes on to say how the reason we are so magnetized to the opposite sex, in most cases, or at least the opposite energy, meaning me being a feminine female I am highly magnetized to the masculine male because they represent something that I am missing! A energy I don’t have consistently embodied at to which I throughly enjoy feeling in my body. This, by the way, can be another hook of codependency. The lesson here is to recognize that this opposite energy we feel an inherent lack of is accessible 24/7 365, whether we are in the presence of our beloved or not, this is especially a beautiful point to highlight for those that are single right now!
This energy, this life bringing light we find in our lover can be found in every beloved we interact with, in every room we enter and even in the moments when we find ourselves alone- we can call in the spirit of the divine, connect with them through smoke, incense, tarot, crystals ETC! Spirituality was never meant to be separate from us, or something we just take to our 10 minute meditation time in the am, spirituality is portable, and is actually of the highest service to us when it is embodied every day in every moment and in every interaction. This is where the saying,
“God is in everything and everyone”
comes from! Much more on this to come babes, thank you for the light and love you give to me on a daily basis! It squeezes my heart and reminds me that life force can be found in any and everyone and I pray the moments I remember that become much longer and frequent. I thank my partner for his patience while I learn this lesson and I thank myself for understanding that this is a journey of expansion and to be a student of life is our main purpose for each and every one of us!
