Day 29 M of M || Priestess ACIM Lesson

Good Morning beloveds!

I’ve been thinking a lot about how we exist and express differently between the two sexes! The Masculine and the Feminine energies require different things…

I had a randomly yet completely divine phone call come through the work line yesterday and it was just one of those calls where it wasn’t about the sale they were trying to make or me transferring them over to the shipping department. It was about something SOO much deeper and more important. The one off hand comment they made that just had a little flavor of spirituality and awareness to it that invited me to lean in a bit and see what happened was the key to a wonderful chat full of too many synchronicities to name and so much wisdom, love and respect! I don’t think I will ever forget this interaction or this beautiful soul.

We ended up having the most divine phone call where wisdom, relationship books and family talk was all shared! From that absolute divinely aligned gold mine of a phone call was a golden nugget that has been pressing on my mind since they shared it with me. This also comes from a book, Love and Respect, which I googled immediately after our phone call and found a talk with the author that I watched over and over- you can check out more on Dr. Emerson, his wife, their story and his books here.

The message was simple yet totally groundbreaking because it is opposite to what we think or- at least what women think is the truth in relationships:

“ Women want to feel loved and Men want to be respected. When disagreements surface the man closes off because he feels undervalued and disrespected by the woman, while the woman is usually upset because she feels a lack of connection and love and often will attempt to bridge this gap in a way that makes her man feel demeaned.”

It got me really curious about A Course in Miracles take on respect, and I was guided on my 29th day commitment to a 40 day study to Chapter 1 “The Meaning of Miracles”.

Enjoy babes and consider how you can love your people better, in a way that feels nice for them even if its a bit unnatural for you!

Miracles, however, are genuinely interpersonal, and result in true closeness to others.
