Day 34 Trueness || Priestess ACIM Lesson
I have been studying a lot lately these past few days!
Thinking about what it means to have a larger understanding of the mind and the body rather than simply existing that is what we are and all we will ever be.
The great teacher Sadhguru speaks on how successful beings have appropriately used and optimized their physiology and psychology to their benefit. They have mastered a sense of understanding of what each is for and freed themselves from the limiting constraints we as can place through disease or turbulence in the thinking mind.
This struck me. Its beyond having control of the body, in a physical sense because I have seen this through experience this is not the intent of the body. The body when allowed to be free knows exactly what to do without any need for interference from us. Similarly, the mind is not to be controlled to the point where we believe everything that it says. In fact it should be monitored and reminded often of its divinity and of its freedom. That neither the past can hold it nor thoughts, expectations and wishes for the future. It is free as long as it remains clear of these holds.
Another very profound thing I learned from Sadhguru is that when we choose to be miserable, which is in fact a choice we biologically send messages to our cells that we want to die. Resulting in a body that physically and literally feels weighed down, sluggish and reluctant to moved from our quite literal depressed state. This is because we are not choosing life, which is also a choice and is the natural essence of life. Then as our mood passes or our negative thoughts subside we send messages to our cells that we want to be alive and so the cells rev back up and perform their natural tasks for us- the ones that feel easy to do when we are in a joyful space, which is nearly ALL and ANY.
There is no limit on your learning because there is no limit on your mind.

When you meet anyone, remember it is a holy encounter. As you see him you will see yourself. As you treat him you will treat yourself. As you think of him you will think of yourself.
Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself.

Whenever two Sons of God meet, they are given another chance at salvation. Do not leave anyone without giving salvation to him and receiving it yourself.
