Day 35 Freedom || Priestess ACIM Lesson
Last night my dreams were so absolutely colorful!
I remember each scene in HD basically! Words exchanged, faces I encountered, animals I rode on, the love I felt and shared. It got me thinking now that I have awoken obviously how nice it was to be SOO present in my dream. To really BE there experiencing all of the things! Now perhaps I am always like this in my dreams but I don’t always remember it.
It’s funny how similar most of my dreams feel to my waking life…
I remember bits and pieces, never really letting too much penetrate through to me, both good and “bad”, some days I’m going through the motions or we might call it in this illustration, sleep walking. Sometimes I can literally witness myself not fully being present, not receiving a compliment as deeply as I should based on the intention and the beautiful words, sometimes joyful things will occur and I’m in a numbed state- marking the event as uneventful with my unconsciousness mind. This happens less often than before in my darker days, but how precious is life really? I want this “sleepiness” or “numbness” to be non existent in my presence. I want to feel ALIVE all of the time. I want to remember the colors, smells, laughter, smiles from EVERYONE just like I can from my dream last night!
This to me is true freedom! Presence.
Today I wanted to continue on with Chapter 8, and on Day 35 of my 40 day commitment to studying A Course in Miracles I looked at “The Gift of Freedom”.
When you are not at peace it can only be because you do not believe you are in Him. Yet He is All in all. His peace is complete, and you must be included in it.

If I am with you in the loneliness of the world, the loneliness is gone. You cannot maintain the illusion of loneliness if you are not alone.

Light does not attack darkness, but it does shine it away.

If my light goes with you everywhere, you shine it away with me. The light becomes ours, and you cannot abide in darkness any more than darkness can abide wherever you go.

THIS HAS TO BE THE BIG ‘SO WHAT’ OF LIFE:
Do you not think the world needs peace as much as you do? Do you not want to give it to the world as much as you want to receive it? For unless you do, you will not receive it.

Healing does not come from anyone else. You must accept guidance from within. The guidance must be what you want, or it will be meaningless to you. That is why healing is a collaborative venture. I can tell you what to do, but you must collaborate by believing that I know what you should do.

Healing reflects our joint will. This is obvious when you consider what healing is for. Healing is the way in which the separation is overcome.

Your mind is the means by which you determine your own condition, because mind is the mechanism of decision. It is the power by which you separate or join, and experience pain or joy accordingly.

Freedom is creation, because it is love. Whom you seek to imprison you do not love. Therefore, when you seek to imprison anyone, including yourself, you do not love him and you cannot identify with him.
